THE COUNTDOWN TO QUILT MARKET BEGINS!

This year’s Quilt Market in Houston begins in just a few short weeks! Before you begin your journey to the show, check out the info below to help you make your most of your time at Quilt Market.

FEATURES AND EVENTS

Returning again this year, DEMO ALLEY is a special area of the show floor in which Market exhibitors will be demonstrating new products. Get up close with the experts, ask questions, and receive hands-on experience with the products. SEE THE SCHEDULE HERE »

SAMPLE SPREE, Friday, October 25, from 7-8:30 pm. See and buy samples of new products before the Quilt Market show floor even opens! Meet the exhibitors, and get ideas for class and shop projects and promotions.

SCHOOLHOUSE SERIES, Friday October 25, 10 am-6 pm. Market’s most popular event offers more than 250 sessions (in 15- and 30-minute intervals) throughout the day. Attendees get a first look at new products, techniques, and books from the designers, manufacturers, and publishers who produce them.

Premier Schoolhouse Session “Hey! I Made That” with Tula Pink.Sponsored by FreeSpirit, Aurifil, and Brewer

Designer and industry influencer Tula Pink will kick off Schoolhouse Series with a celebration of all of the elements that bind us together and define our very existence. Let’s take joy in our community of makers and all the glory, attitude, and beauty that comes from the privilege of saying “Hey! I made that.” This Premier session is truly precedent setting! For the first time, collectively, industry organizations are presenting together for the greater good—the retailer—by telling a complete story that allows them to focus on a total offering for their customers. Both the retailer and customer can benefit from Tula’s knowledge and expertise. The first 900 enrolled Schoolhouse attendees to pick up their Schoolhouse schedule will also receive a SWAG bag ticket. Schedules will be available starting at 7:30 am on the third floor of the convention center in front of General Assembly. Attendees will need to be on time, stay for the entire presentation, and once the Premier session and a few announcements are over, you may exchange your ticket for a SWAG bag as you leave.

JOIN US FOR WINE DOWN!
ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27, FROM 5-6 PM

This casual social and networking mixer takes place the last hour of the show on Sunday. There will be complimentary light snacks and a cash bar for you to enjoy.
